Leeds man charged with eight knife-point robberies at Greggs, hairdressers and newsagents

A Leeds man has been charged with eight knife-point robberies at stores and businesses across Leeds.

The 47-year-old man from Bramley has been charged in relation to robberies and attempted robberies across West and North Leeds between February 6 and April 5.

He targeted food outlets, local hair salons, convenience stores and local newsagents.

Greggs, Kirkstall Road, Burley, on February 22.

Spa Adelena Hair & Beauty, Town Street, Rodley, on February 25.

Cats Protection, Otley Road, Headingley, on February 26.

A1 News, Manston Approach, Manston, on April 2 and on April 5.

Londis, Woodland Hill, Whitkirk, on April 5.

Stop Press Newsagents, Station Road, Cross Gates, on April 5.

He has also been charged with eight counts of possessing an offensive weapon in relation to those incidents.
