Leeds Festival drug dealer caught after his wristband expired

William Wood was found in possession of MDMA, ketamine, cocaine, cannabis and diazepam worth £6,000 at the 2017 event at Bramham.
Giles Grant, prosecuting, said Wood was stopped because he was wearing a wristband from the previous day.

Hide AdWood appeared to be under the influence of drugs so was searched.
Leeds Crown Court heard the drugs were found in his bag.
He also had a small amount of cannabis, a set of scales and grip seal bags.
The drugs had a total street value of £1,200 but were likely to be worth £6,000 at the festival.
Wood, of Kitchin Road, Wombwell, Barnsley, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession of a class A drug and two counts of possession of class B drugs.
The 32-year-old was jailed for five years and five months.

Hide AdWood has previous convictions for possession with intent to supply ketamine and possession of ketamine.
Caroline Abraham, mitigating, said her client had used ketamine for a decade but sought help professional help in May last year.
Sentencing, Recorder Joanne Kidd said: "The fact that you chose to pay off your drug debts by contaminating the lives of other young people shows complete disregard for responsibility - you know the damage drug use does."
