Hebden Green stabbing: Seacroft man to appear in court after Whinmoor attack

A man is to appear in court after a man was stabbed in Whinmoor, Leeds.

Police were called to an alleyway off Hebden Green at about 7.30pm on Sunday June 13.

They found a 52-year-old man with multiple stab wounds, including serious wounds to his neck.

He was taken to hospital for treatment and is in a stable condition.

Darren Winstanley, aged 50, of Eastdean Grove, Seacroft, has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent in relation to an incident on Sunday, June 13.

He is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court today (Tuesday 22).
