Heavily-pregnant Pudsey dealer avoids jail after magic-mushroom bust in Leeds
A pregnant dealer found with a smorgasbord of substances in her car has been spared immediate custody.
Ella Kerwick was caught with magic mushrooms, MDMA, cocaine and the synthetic psychedelic drug, 2C-B, in her possession.
The 25-year-old admitted four counts of dealing in Class A drugs at Leeds Crown Court this week.
She was behind the wheel of a blue Seat Leon in the Hyde Park area on August 5, 2024, when police pulled her over at around 11pm.

The vehicle was flagged up as having no MOT, but they decided to search her and the car because of an overpowering smell of cannabis.
They found 10 bags of MDMA, 23 bags of magic mushrooms, two bags of cocaine and four 2C-B pills.
They were worth a total of £948. They even found dealer cards advertising drugs for sale with a number and a Snapchat account.
Around £1,260 in cash was found in her handbag and the driver’s side door.
Prosecutor Dan Lee said Kerwick was a “runner” selling drugs directly to users.
She gave a no-comment interview to police. She has one previous conviction for drink driving.
Mitigating, Clara Brown said Kerwick, of Marsh Terrace, Pudsey, had “remorse” and had “taken steps to move away from this life” having found “suitable employment”.
The judge, Recorder Helen Chapman, acknowledged that Kerwick was due to give birth next month.
She gave her a 24-month sentence, suspended for 24 months, with 150 hours of unpaid work to be completed along with 10 rehabilitation days.
