A four-year-old girl was taken to hospital after being hit by a taxi in Leeds.

Police were called to reports of the crash on Moorland Road, Headingley, at around 3.30pm on Saturday (September 5).

The four-year-old girl was hit by a Toyota Avensis taxi, police said.

The taxi stopped at the scene.

She was found to have minor injuries, police confirmed.
