Our reporter Daniel Sheridan is at the scene of the incident, which has seen officers cordon around a block of flats in Butterbowl Gardens in Farnley.
Police dogs and officers have been spotted heading inside the flats. There are three police vans and an officer has been seen guarding the scene.
West Yorkshire Police have been contacted for comment - more as we get it.
