Here are eight vicious criminals who were locked up in Leeds this week.

Their crimes include a twisted paedophile who discussed “grotesque” fantasies about raping and murdering children.

Also locked up at Leeds Crown Court this week, was a dealer found storing £125,000 worth of drugs in a lock-up garage and Transit van.

Mohammed Bashir was jailed for for four-and-a-half years at Leeds Crown Court after he caught storing huge amounts of drugs, worth up to £125,000, in a van and a lock-up garage on a Leeds street. Police raided the 27-year-old’s home on Lawrence Road, Gipton - where he lives with his parents - on December 10 last year and initially found cannabis worth £8,500 in his bedroom.

The 23-year-old's home on Buckingham Avenue in Headingley was searched where more than £3,000 in cash was found, plus cannabis and cocaine. The drugs recovered had a street value of £2,380, prosecutor Oishee Dey said.
