Their crimes include a drug-dealing gunman who shot an innocent bystander during a drive-by attack outside a petrol in Wakefield.
Also locked up at Leeds Crown Court this week, was a paedophile who took a young schoolgirl from the street, before sexually abusing her for a period of two hours.

7. Omarie Adams
Predatory paedophile Omarie Adams enticed a 13-year-old schoolgirl into his car in broad daylight, despite her being fearful. He drove her to premises in Leeds where he sexually abused her for a period of two hours. The 34-year-old, of Second Avenue, Armley, was handed a 13-year custodial sentence with a seven-year extended licence period and put on the sex offender register for life. | WYP
8. Kian Cooper
Kian Cooper was described as acting like an “old-style Western gunslinger” which prompted a member of the public to dial 999 and an armed police response. The 26-year-old, who received a 32-week suspended sentence for aggravated vehicle taking and going equipped in October, had the sentence activated. Cooper, of no fixed abode, was jailed for 32-months in 2023 for unlawful wounding at Xscape in Castleford. | WYP / YEP / Google Maps
