Police arrived at 1.10pm and found Capewell drunk outside his home.

The defendant told them that his neighbour was a sex offender.

He said: "I'm going to go down there and slice his throat."

Capewell was arrested and told officers he had "ongoing "issues" with his neighbour.

The 52-year-old pleaded guilty to making threats to kill.

Victoria Smith-Swain, mitigating, said Capewell pleaded guilty to the offence at an early stage and had not been in trouble for 18 years.
