Driver arrested on suspicion of drug driving as police seize BMW in Beeston Leeds
A driver has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after police stopped a car in Leeds.
Officers from Leeds South Neighbourhood Policing Team spotted the BMW while on patrol in Beeston on Saturday.
After running checks, they found the driver had no licence or insurance and the car was seized.
The driver was then arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
In a statement issued on Facebook, the Leeds South NPT said: "Team Two officers on proactive patrols yesterday evening stopped this vehicle in Beeston.
"The driver had no insurance and no licence and the vehicle was seized.
"The driver was also arrested on suspicion of drug driving."
