'Distressed' woman grabbed and bundled into car on busy Leeds road

A woman 'in distress' was pushed into a car on a busy Leeds road last night (Tuesday).

It happened in Bradford Road in Bramley at 9.25pm.

Police said a woman "believed to be in distress" was seen being grabbed before being pushed inside a silver or grey coloured Range Rover.

West Yorkshire Police want to make the woman is OK.

The woman has been described as white.

Detective Inspector Richard Coulton of Leeds CID, said: “We are making urgent enquiries to trace the woman seen to check she is OK – I would urge anyone with information about what happened to get in contact.

“Likewise if you were involved in this incident please get in contact.”
