Dangerous Beeston cannabis farm discovered by West Yorkshire Police

Police broke down the door of a house in Beeston and found a 'dangerous' cannabis farm which had used a bypassed electricity supply which risked starting a fire.

The incident happened on Saturday, June 19. Police from Inner South Leeds forced entry into a Beeston house and found a 'large cannabis farm'.

Officers found that the electricity had been bypassed and had an 'extremely dangerous' electrical configuration which put adjoining houses at risk of fire.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "On Saturday 19th June, officers from Inner South Leeds Neighbourhood Policing Team and forced entry into a house in Beeston.

"The property contained a large cannabis farm and the electricity supply had also been bypassed. The amateur electrical configuration was extremely dangerous and it was putting adjoining properties at risk through fire.
