Daniel Holdsworth was arrested after public protection officers found the images on phones at his home in Bramley.

Leeds Crown Court court heard Holdsworth was the subject of a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) banning him from sending pornographic images online due to his previous convictions for sex offences.

Public protection officers went to his home on July 28 last year after receiving information that the defendant had a new mobile phone.

Mr Bell said the officers explained to Holdsworth why they were making the visit to his home and he handed over a small black Nokia phone and a smart phone.

The officers discovered that the 37-year-old had made contact with people on WhatApp and Kik Messenger and had send explicit pictures of himself.

He had also made internet searches using the words 'teen' and 'rape'.

Ayman Khokhar, mitigating, said Holdsworth pleaded guilty to the offences at an early stage.

Mr Khokhar said his client suffers from seizures and is registered disabled.

Jailing Holdsworth for seven months, Judge Andrew Stubss QC said he was imposing an immediate custodial sentence because the breaches were repeated and deliberate.
