Beeston gun incident: Three people arrested after shots fired in Leeds street

Three people have been arrested after shots were fired in a street in Leeds.

Police were called to a property in Parkfield Mount, Beeston, at about 10pm last night after residents reported hearing loud shots.

Officers found evidence consistent with a firearms discharge, but no injuries or damage to property was reported.

An investigation was launched and police later arrested two men, aged 22 and 23, and a 20-year-old woman - all from Leeds.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have information about the incident.

Detective Inspector James Entwistle of Leeds District CID, said: “We are continuing to conduct enquiries into this firearms discharge today and are appealing for information and witnesses.

“All firearms incidents are treated extremely seriously by West Yorkshire Police and I can promise residents this incident is being fully investigated.
