Police have launched an appeal to find a five foot missing man who could be in Leeds - but warn the public not to approach him.

Lee Evans, 36, was last seen in Thatcham in Berkshire on Friday, January 10.

He was spotted at about 3.55pm in the town, but Thames Valley police believe he could have then travelled to Leeds.

Lee is five foot tall, of slim build and has short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket and trousers with blue plimsolls, as shown in CCTV footage captured on the day he went missing.

Lee is known to frequent Leeds, Scarborough and Malton.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: "If you think you see Lee, please do not approach him but call 999.

"If you have any information which could help us find him, please call the non-emergency number 101 or make a report online using the reference 43200011074."
