Police have launched an appeal after a pervert followed a lone woman around a woodland while committing a sex act.

It happened at about 12.30pm on Sunday, September 6 as the woman was in Gledhow Valley Woods.

She was approached by a man who is alleged to have been outraging public decency at the time

A man officers want to speak to in connection with the incident is described as aged between 25 and 35, about 5’5” tall, of a slim build and with short dark hair which was believed to be gelled.

He was wearing black gym shorts and a grey puffer jacket with a hood.
