'Angry is an understatement': Leeds resident left furious after thieves rip out Christmas reindeer lights from garden

A Leeds resident has been left furious - after callous thieves stole two reindeer Christmas lights from his garden.

Anthony James, from Brown Lane in Holbeck, installed the lights for 'his family and the community' on Saturday evening.

However, he was devastated to find the reindeer had been taken from the garden when he woke on Sunday morning.

Anthony said: "On Saturday night, November 30, I put these beautiful lights out in my garden on Brown Lane East, Holbeck for my kids and their faces lit up.

"But on Sunday morning this is what we woke up to.

"Some low life has ripped out two of the deer never to be seen again.

"£180 we paid for the reindeer, not just for us but for the community.

"Every year I try to add stuff, but no more.

"To say I am angry is an understatement."

Anthony has reported the crime to West Yorkshire Police.
