Ambulance service called after fire breaks out in Leeds home

Paramedics were called to a Woodhouse home after a fire broke out in the kitchen.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were first called to Eltham Close shortly before 2.30pm on Friday.

Firefighters found the kitchen was on fire and use four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a high powered fan to extinguish the fire and get rid of the smoke.

One person was suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation and was treated by Yorkshire Ambulance Service crews.

One fire engine from Moortown and one from Hunslet were called to the fire.
