90-year-old man seriously injured in Alwoodley crash

A 90-year-old man was seriously injured after a crash in Alwoodley.

It happened at the roundabout junction to the park and ride site next to Allerton High School in King Lane at 3.17pm on Wednesday, June 17.

The man was the driver that a blue Peugeot 108 which collided with a traffic island at the roundabout.

He received serious injuries.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.
