90-year-old man dies three weeks after King Lane crash

A 90-year-old man died three weeks after the car he was driving crashed into a traffic island in North Leeds.

Peter McIntyre, from Alwoodley, died in hospital on July 10 following the incident in King Lane, Alwoodley, on Wednesday, June 17.

The blue Peugeot 108 he was driving crashed into a traffic island at the roundabout junction to the park and ride site next to Allerton High School at about 3.20pm that day.

Police are renewing an appeal for information following Mr McIntyre's death.

West Yorkshire Police want to hear from anyone who saw the crash or the circumstances leading up to it, particularly anyone with any saved dashcam or phone footage.
