Police are appealing for information after the man was seriously assaulted in Leeds last night.

The victim, a 50-year-old man, was assaulted following an altercation with two men outside the Swinnow Shopping Centre, in Swinnow Road, shortly before 10.30pm yesterday (June 6).

He received serious head and facial injuries and is currently in a stable condition in hospital, police confirmed.

A scene is in place at the shopping centre and enquiries are ongoing to identify the suspects.
