Their crimes include a dangerous sexual predator who picked up a woman that thought he was her pre-booked taxi and then raped her, and a vile paedophile, who forged his references, to land a job at a Leeds nursery.
Also locked up at Leeds Crown Court during March 2026, was a bungling ram-raider targeting valuable games consoles at Smyths Toy Superstore in Leeds.

26. Mason Murray
Drunken Mason Murray left residents terrified and children screaming after he was seen running around the streets late at night clutching a Samurai sword. 27. Jason Williams
Violent thug Jason Williams was jailed for 38 months and given a 10-year restraining order after the court heard how he slammed a door so hard on his partner's fingers it severed the end of her finger, and he then threw her down the stairs. Williams, of Windmill Close, Belle Isle, admitted coercive control and GBH without intent, but only on the day he was due to stand trial. | WYP / YEP

28. Nassir Dib
Student and drug-line dealer Nassir Dib, who controlled a phone line that sent out blanket messages to addicts advertising deals in heroin and crack cocaine, said he was “gifted” by being locked up because it had given him time to “reflect on his life and his decisions”. The 24-year-old was jailed for 48 months. | WYP / YEP

Paranoid cocaine addict Tyrone Lewis, who “lost his grip on reality” and waved a gun at Leeds’ West Indian Carnival worker, has been deemed a danger to society and jailed for 20 months, plus a three-year extended licence period.
