Their crimes included a child rapist who was finally jailed more than 30 years after he carried out his sickening abuse, and a sexual predator who attacked a woman on Call Lane just days after he was released from a lengthy prison sentence for a similar attack.
Also locked up at Leeds Crown Court during February 2026, was a Wakefield businessman who smuggled more than £102,000 worth of thermal-imaging rifle scopes to China.
Here are the names and faces of 29 criminals who were locked up by judges last month...

25. Lee Rose
Lee Rose was jailed for robbing a man of £17 worth of groceries after took revenge over Facebook posts. The 28-year-old also made threatening calls to the man’s relatives warning them not to contact the police or face being stabbed. The judge described it as a “revenge attack”. He said Rose played a leading part, and jailed him for four years. | WYP / Google Maps

26. Jordan Haynes
Jordan Haynes has been recalled to prison until 2028 after he “hunted down” and stabbed his victim in Pudsey last year. Judge Andrew Stubbs KC told Haynes at Leeds Crown Court that he effectively got a “free stab” at a victim, suggesting whatever sentence he could pass, it would make little difference to his 2028 release as he is unable to extend the time he serves in prison. | WYP

27. Patryk Procyk
Violent ex Patryk Procyk was jailed for three years after he was found guilty after a trial of coercive control, two counts of ABH and stalking that caused serious alarm or distress. The court heard how Procyk would sleep rough outside his ex's home for weeks at a time and she later moved to Leeds from London to get away from him. He was also given a 10-ytear restraining order. | WYP / YEP
