26 drivers reported for offences on Leeds road in just one night

26 drivers have been reported for a number of different offences in just one night on a Leeds road.

On Friday night, 16 drivers were caught speeding and 10 others were reported for other offences on Roseville Road.

One driver was driving at 68mph on the road in Harehills which is more than twice the 30mph speed limit.

The offenders were reported by West Yorkshire Police officers from the Roads Policing Unit.

A tweet from the West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit account said: "Roseville Road, Leeds- RPU conducted speed checks here last night.

"The road has a 30mph limit. 26 drivers reported for a number of offences, 16 of those for speeding. Including one more than twice the limit of 68mph.

"Please slow down, speed kills #Team4 #Fatal4 #SaferCommunities"
