16-year-old boy taken to hospital after stabbing in Leeds

A 16-year-old boy has been taken to hospital in Leeds following a stabbing.

The boy was found with stab injuries to his hand and wrist on Glenthorpe Crescent in Leeds.

He was taken to hospital after the attack on Glenthorpe Avenue but his injuries are not considered to be life threatening.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “At 3.07pm on Saturday (28/11) police were contacted by the ambulance service who were attending Glenthorpe Crescent, Leeds, where a 16-year-old male had been found with stab injuries to his hand and wrist.

“He was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries were not considered life threatening.

“It was established that he had been attacked in Glenthorpe Avenue and a scene was put in place to undergo forensic examination.”
