They all appeared as defendants before Leeds Crown Court, with jails sentences ranging from just a few months to several years.
Judges dealt with a Leeds student who hinted at mass shooting and was found storing explosive chemicals in his halls of residence, as well as an illegal immigrant who lived in Leeds for nearly 20 years under a false name thanks to a corrupt Home Office official, among many others.
Here are 13 of the criminals who were locked up in Leeds this week -

7. Daniel Squire
Daniel Squire, 32, of no fixed address, was jailed for 19 months after admitting GBH without intent, racially-aggravated harassment, criminal damage to a police van and assault on an emergency worker. It came after an incident on October 29 last year at a homeless charity in the city centre during which he was allegedly smoking the illegal psychoactive drug "spice", before smashing a coffee mug into a man's head. In a later incident outside the LGI. he was drunk, aggressive and hurling racist abuse at a man. Police arrested him, but he spat repeatedly and urinated in the back of the van. | West Yorkshire Police/National World Photo: West Yorkshire Police/National World

10. Jonathan Jenkins
Jonathan Jenkins, 31, of Cross Lane, Wortley, had 12 months of a suspended sentence activated after doing "next to nothing" of his community service. He was convicted in December 2022 of ABH on a woman and given a 22-month sentence, suspended for 24 months, as well as 200 hours of unpaid work. But it emerged that he did none of the work, only recently completing a one-hour induction, and had not completed a relationship course.
