The nine-strong CreativeRace team cycled from its London office to the company’s head office in Leeds, raising £2,200 in the process.

Account manager Ben Norman, who came up with the idea, said: “It’s really nice that we’ve accomplished this physically demanding challenge and raised an impressive sum for local charitable causes in the process.

“The experience is real testament to our teamwork as we worked together to complete the challenge.”

The team set off from Shoreditch on Sunday morning and arrived at Whitehall Road in Leeds on Tuesday evening, having covered 230 miles during a total of 15 hours in the saddle.

Ben said: “The team included experienced riders who cycle competitively to those who have only been cycling for five months, so it was important for us to support each other during the training and the final ride and enjoy a few beers in the process.

“It was great to receive such a great send-off from the London team and a warm welcome as we arrived at the Leeds office, showing that though our offices may be over 200 miles apart, we share the same company spirit!”

The challenge coincided with the first year anniversary of the company’s rebrand from Gratterpalm to CreativeRace

The charities set to benefit were voted for by the staff at the agency.
