Concerns grow for welfare of missing Leeds man as disappearance is 'out of character'

Police are concerned for the welfare of a missing Leeds man as his disappearance is 'out of character'.

Zhai Ming Zhang, 47 was last seen leaving his home address yesterday evening between 7pm and 8pm in the Armley area of Leeds

He is described as a Chinese male, approximately 5ft 7inches tall and of medium build with short black hair.

Zhai Ming is believed to be wearing a dark blue or black jacket and jeans.

Officers are asking anyone with information to contact police on 101 quoting log 1843 of 27/5.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police in Leeds are appealing for information to locate a missing man.

"Zhai Ming Zhang, 47 was last seen leaving his home address yesterday evening between 7 and 8pm in Armley, Leeds.

"He is described as a Chinese male, approximately 5ft 7, medium build with short black hair.

"Zhai Ming is believed to be wearing a dark blue or black jacket and jeans.

"Officers are concerned for his welfare as this is out of character.

"Anyone with information that may assist with enquiries is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 1843 of 27/5."
