The former Scotland international's annual salary is reportedly £2.3m and if Steve Bruce's team do in fact clinch a return to the top flight it will increase to around the £3m mark.

McCormack has appeared just 20 times for Villa since making the £12m switch from Fulham in 2016 but hasn't played this campaign for the Villans and has spent time on loan at Notthingham Forest and Melbourne City in recent months.
