Caravan 'explodes' beside Leeds ring road
A caravan caught fire beside the Leeds ring road this afternoon.
A teenage boy took this photo of the caravan after seeing an 'explosion' as he was walking home from school.
The caravan, which was not occupied, was parked in a field beside the A6120 between Weetwood and Horsforth.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were called to the incident just after 3pm, but were unable to access the site through a locked gate. The fire was left to burn out.
