Calls Landing: Firefighters called to deal with blaze at Leeds city centre bar

Fire crews have been tackling a fire at a bar in Leeds city centre which started in the early hours of this morning.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a blaze in ground floor bar area of the Stew & Oyster at Calls Landing in the The Calls at 4.04am today. (July 1)

Crews from Hunslet, Killingbeck and Moortown attended the scene.

A statement from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service reads: "Incident was made persons reported and crews evacuated a neighbouring building, but after a search it was found that no persons were involved."
