BREAKING: Emergency services called to Leeds Crown Court to reports of delivery of a suspect package


Police, fire and ambulance incident response units are currently at the building on Oxford Row in Leeds city centre.

Hide AdThe building has NOT been evacuated and many of the courts are currently operating is usual.
A letter containing a white powder is understood to have been delivered to the court’s general office.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman has confirmed that a package has been “secured” pending an investigation and an evacuation of the building is not deemed necessary at this stage.
The incident was reported at 11.44am.
