Gin Festival founder Jym Harris set up the event in 2012 with his wife Marie after they realised there wasn’t a festival that reflected their own love for gin.

Jym said: “We absolutely love gin, so we started these events because we thought other people would want the same as us. We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive reception and it’s been fantastic to see so many people rediscover this amazing drink.”

The first event was held in Leeds and attracted 150 visitors. It has since grown, with up to 4,000 people attending the events.

The three-day festival runs from July 1 to 3 and tickets cost £7.50.
