Winter Illuminations, Stockeld Park

Enjoy the dazzling light effects and striking installations at Stockeld Park's Enchanted Forest, where you can wander through almost a mile of magical woodland.

The illuminations are open daily from 10.30am until 8.30pm, until 7 January 2019.

Visitors will require a Forest & Maze ticket to enjoy the illuminations, which are priced between £8 and £13.50 per person.

Christkindlemarkt, Millennium Square

Perfect for picking up some unusual Christmas gifts, or just indulging in some tasty seasonal fare, the German Christmas Market is sure to ignite those festive feelings.

The market features more than 40 traditionally decorated wooden chalet stalls, and there's also a Christmas carousel ride to enjoy during your visit.

Christmas at Harewood House

Harewood House is throwing open its doors again this Christmas, transporting visitors back to the 1920s with demonstrations, events, Christmas music and an encounter with Father Christmas himself.

The house will be open from 10am to 6pm until 6 January 2019, with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Tickets are priced from £8.50 and grant access to all areas of the Christmas experience.

Thor's Tipi, Victoria Gardens

Santa's Grotto, The Merrion Centre

Fancy paying Santa an early visit?

He'll be making an appearance in The Merrion Centre's glittery grotto bauble throughout December, where visitors will have the opportunity to meet the man in red for free, or pick up a present or photo for an additional charge.

Magical Christmas Maze, The Light

Due to open in The Light in early December, visitors will be able to wander through a larger than life magical maze which will lead to Father Christmas' magic workshop, offering hot chocolate and festive arts and crafts.

The maze is based on St Anne's Gardens and will sit adjacent to The Light's indoor courtyard, complete with numerous twists and turns.

The maze will be open on the weekends of 8-9 December, and 15-16 December.
