Armley Ridge Road: Appeal to find witness who helped woman after Audi hit and run

Police are appealing to find a witness who helped a woman after she was hit by a car in Armley.

It happened at about 11.50am on Monday, June 7.

The woman was riding a bike along Armley Ridge Road when she was hit by what is believed to be a light blue or grey Audi at the junction for Cockshott Lane.

The driver did not stop and drove off from the scene.

A witness driving a white Volkswagen Polo witnessed the crash and helped the woman.

The victim was taken to hospital.

Her condition is not believed to be life-threatening, West Yorkshire Police said.

Officers in Leeds are keen to locate the witness from the Volkswagen, who may be able to assist with enquires.
