Wetherby-based Franks Accountants chose Hope Pastures – which rehabilitates and rehomes horses, ponies and donkeys – to support last year, donating £100 for each new client the firm took on.

Kim Pengelly, the charity’s fundraising and PR coordinator, said: “A massive thanks to Franks Accountants – this money has helped to finance our rescues throughout the year and has been invaluable. We’re truly grateful.”

This year, the business is to support Our Angels, a Harrogate-based non-profit organisation which supports families who have sadly lost a baby.
