Apprentice launches city lunch events

Leeds ladies who lunch are being encouraged to come together as a city centre hotel launches its first networking event this week.

The Ladies Who Lunch event at the Dakota Deluxe hotel, just off East Parade, is designed for ladies in business or leisure who are looking to enjoy a delicious lunch with a bit of glamorous networking.

And to kick it all off at the first one on Wednesday is Claire Young, an entrepreneur based in Wakefield and a former runner up on BBC’s The Apprentice.

She currently runs her own business, ‘School Speakers’, and has worked with the government on projects helping young people get onto the career ladder and more women into business.

Ms Young will be sharing real life lessons and experiences in business and said: “I am delighted to be supporting the Ladies Who Lunch event.

“My network of contacts, and building those positive relationships, has been so fundamental to my business success and I look forward to meeting everyone on Wednesday.”

Guests will be welcomed with a glass of fizz upon arrival, followed by a two-course lunch and future Ladies Who Lunch events will be held on the first Thursday of the month.

“Clare Young is such an inspiration to women and is driven to share real life lessons and experience with people to enthuse, motivate and inform her audience.”

“Every month we will have a different speaker and already have an array of interesting speakers lined up from champagne gurus to chocolatiers.”
