A629 Bradford crash: Police investigating Keighley collision involving single decker bus and tractor

Police are investigating a crash involving a single decker bus and a tractor in West Yorkshire.

The bus driver, a 52-year-old man, was found to have suffered serious injuries after being taken to hospital. He was the driver of a Volvo single decker bus that was in collision with a John Deere tractor on the A629 in Keighley between the Silsden and Hard Ings roundabouts at around 8:56am yesterday (March 7).

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious injury road traffic collision. It happened at about 8.56am today (Tuesday) when a Volvo single decker bus was in collision with a John Deere tractor on the A629 in Keighley, between the Silsden and Hard Ings roundabouts.

“Both vehicles were travelling towards Keighley at the time of the collision. The bus driver, a 52-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he was found to have suffered serious injuries.

“The tractor driver was uninjured. The Roads Policing Unit are investigating the collision and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it, or who may have footage that will assist their enquiries.
