Huge high street names like Topshop and Debenhams, which was founded back in 1778, sadly called in administrators, leading to the closures of stores. The White Rose, which was home to many Arcadia Group brands, has been hit by closures. Here are nine stores that will not be reopening at White Rose when non-essential shops open on April 12.

. Thorntons
Thorntons announced that it would close all of its stores and operate as online-only in March 2021. The White Rose store was the only remaining Thorntons in Leeds, after the Commercial Street store closed in early 2020.
. Carphone Warehouse chain
In March, technology retail giant Dixons Carphone wielded the axe on its Carphone Warehouse chain, closing all of its standalone UK stores including in Leeds. Outlets inside Currys PC World, in Albion Street, White Rose and Guiseley, remain open.
1. Thorntons

3. Topshop / Topman
All Topshop stores are set to shut for good after Deloitte, administrators for Arcadia group, sold the brand and stock to online retailer Asos. There were three Topshop and Topman stores in Leeds - located in Briggate, White Rose and Kirkstall Bridge shopping park.
4. Burton

5. Dorothy Perkins
Burton's sister brand Dorothy Perkins will also see the closure of all its Leeds stores, following the sale of the brand to Boohoo.
6. Monsoon
The Monsoon store in the White Rose has closed but the Accessorise store will remain open, according to the company's website.
