Spring is officially in full swing, and while the flowers are blooming across Leeds, the team at the Cats Protection Leeds Cat Centre in Gildersome is busy playing matchmaker.
Finding a new pet a home during these milder months is the perfect ‘sweet spot’ for owners, allowing plenty of time to get a new arrival comfortable before the summer heat and holiday season kick in.
The current residents at the Gildersome centre range from tiny kittens found abandoned in the wild to dignified seniors looking for a quiet place to spend their retirement.
Whether you are looking for an ‘air biscuit’ expert like Beanz or a strikingly handsome companion like Maverick, there is a feline friend for every type of household.
Here are 13 cats currently looking for a second chance in Leeds.
13. Brady - Domestic Short Hair (3 years)
Brady is an affectionate boy who is looking for a rural home where he can explore the great outdoors safely. He would suit an understanding owner who is happy to let him settle in at his own pace and navigate his new surroundings. He can be a little unpredictable if startled, so a home without children is a must for him. | Cats Protection
