For three days between March 15 and 17, Manchester Central will become a hub for expertise, advice and inspiration on buying an overseas property.

The event is a chance for anyone dreaming of their own ‘place in the sun’ to view hundreds of international properties as well as receive expert advice on how to go about finding the right property and navigating different legal systems.

As well as hearing from real-life buyers and property specialists, television presenters Amanda Lamb, Jasmine Harman, Jonnie Irwin and Laura Hamilton, will be on hand to share their top tips.

More than two thirds of visitors at previous A Place in the Sun Live events held in Manchester have been interested in buying a property in Spain, and in particular the sun-soaked Costas. As a result, the show will feature a strong presence of exhibitors covering the Spanish market.

They will be joined by property experts who will be flying in specially to showcase homes from around the world, including the favourite destinations of France, Portugal, Italy, and Florida.

The event is a unique opportunity to quiz experts – including property lawyers and advisers – who know the markets, properties and prices inside out.

A focal point will be The Hub, where there will be a series of panel sessions with experts, and where real-life buyers will share first-hand insights into buying their dream place in the sun. Talks will take place on Saturday and Sunday.

As well as offering top tips, the TV celebrities will reveal the secrets of filming schedules that have taken them all over the world – from beach front villas to country hideaways.

There’s even a chance to appear on the small screen: Freeform Productions will be conducting auditions for another series of the hit programme. Anyone interested just has to let them know where they want to buy, their budget and why they really want to take part.

As if that’s not enough, all visitors receive a complimentary copy of the latest A Place in the Sun magazine and A Place in the Sun Live Show Guide to help them navigate around the show.

A Place in the Sun Live is at Manchester Centre from March 15 to 17.
