Winners in The Sunday Times Estate Agent of the Year Awards are decided following a rigorous judging process by a panel of 20 industry experts who assessed detailed entry submissions before conducting an extensive review of the entrants, which included over 150 hours of telephone interviews and mystery shopping exercises. The judging process was overseen by The Property Ombudsman, Christopher Hamer, and Gerry Fitzjohn, VP of The Property Ombudsman acted as Arbiter. The judges said of Manning Stainton: “The company is led from the top by focussed directors who are fully involved with every aspect of the business. They are approachable and encourage an open door policy with the team, so the internal communication is admirable. This emphasis on great communication extends out to the client base as well.’ The firm’s web site and social media strategy also came in for special praise.
