The UK's first gin and rum festival is headed to Leeds

This summer will see Leeds welcome the UK’s first gin and rum festival.

Drink lovers will be spoilt for choice with more than 60 different gins and 60 different rums on offer to try at the event held at the Royal Armouries Museum on Friday 1 June and Saturday 2 June.

What to expect

A huge range of drinks will be available to enjoy from seven individually themed bars, where there will be both British gins and rums on offer alongside well recognised world brands.

As well as the the array of tipples, there will be talks and masterclasses from some of the best drinks producers in the industry, and plenty of live entertainment and succulent street food to enjoy.

Experienced staff will be on hand to guide guests through the many different blends, tastes and locations of the various spirits on offer and ticket holders will also be provided with a gin and rum bible, and a free satchel including their own copa glass.

When is it?

The event will be held at the Royal Armouries Museum across three different sessions:

Friday 1 June, from 6pm to 11pmSaturday 2 June, from 12pm to 5pmSaturday 2 June, from 6pm to 11pm

How to buy tickets

Tickets prices range between £7.50 and £10 and are available to purchase via the events page here.

The cost of drinks is not included with the entrance fee. Guests must top up a cashless wristband, which will be provided on entry, or at the top up station, as the bars will not accept cash.

The event is strictly for over 18s only, so ID may be required to enter.
