The restaurant, located on East Parade in the heart of the city centre, is offering guests 30 per cent off its à la carte menus in January 2020.

Its intimate and contemporary design, inspired by the detail found in modern body art, creates the perfect atmosphere for a seasonal dining experience with a difference for work colleagues, friends and family gatherings.

It has recently been named as one the best restaurants in Europe.

Brand manager Angela Wallsworth said the restaurant’s focus is on offering an immersive experience for guests from the moment they enter the restaurant, with elements inspired by Asia while, of course, paying tribute to its Yorkshire home.

The main restaurant plays host to a delicate canopy of Cherry Blossom trees – a symbol of love and luck in Chinese culture – while the White Rose Garden Terrace provides the perfect place for larger groups to dine together.

There’s also a stunning private dining room on the mezzanine level, decorated in intricate marble with traditional fretwork screens that offer diners an intimately enclosed space without shutting out the lively atmosphere from the main restaurant space.

And its original approach, which includes its own signature incense, has seen guests flock for a fine dining experience.

She said: “We want to stimulate all the senses for our guests from the design aesthetic to the taste and presentation of each dish.

“We want diners to leave feeling like they’ve had more than just a delicious meal – it’s about the whole experience.”

There’s an element of theatre about Tattu too, especially when it comes to dessert.

Its signature Cherry Blossom dessert remains a bestselling blend of chocolate mousse, cherry and candyfloss – each element is entirely edible.

Angela added: “Our seasonal sharing menus are perfect for groups looking for something a little different this winter. We aim to bring together selections of our signature dishes, with flavours you won’t find in a lot of restaurants at this time of year, like our Chilli and Sesame Roasted Scallops with Chinese sausage, crushed edamame and mint or our signature Caramel Soy Beef Fillet with shiitake and asparagus.

“We’re already looking towards our next seasonal menus and are in development with the chefs at each restaurant to create a bespoke dish inspired by each region,” says Angela.

The vision of Tattu’s brand was to bring something exciting to the table and as its reputation continues to grow so too does its commitment to the company tagline – Permanently Unique.

Angela added: “We have unique interiors; we encourage our teams to be themselves and to be different and we are building our brand around that individuality.

“It’s about more than just quality food and drinks.

“We want everyone to feel special from the moment we welcome them through the doors to the time they leave us – we want guests to keep coming back to create more special memories at Tattu.

“That’s why our menus offer a range of dining styles, from dim sum and small plates through to larger dishes that are all designed to be shared and enjoyed together.”

The restaurant can cater for groups and parties from two up to 200, with its seasonal sharing menus starting at £40 per person.
