Love Yorkshire Coast has compiled a list of fantastic foodie places to visit all situated along the picturesque Yorkshire Coast. So, when the time comes and lockdown is lifted with the roadmap announcement suggesting May 17 might be the time we can all get our fill of delicious food.

He had long wished to open a restaurant in his hometown to celebrate the ingredients he grew up surrounded by and with which he began to learn to cook with. The menu features Catch-of-the-Day fish and meat specials and also world famous North Yorkshire Moors produce, such as furred and feathered game. 4. The Magpie, Whitby
Housed in a distinctive black and white building overlooking the harbour, the world famous Magpie Café is a staple within Yorkshire for some of the finest fish and chips around. Recognisable by the long queues down the street of people waiting for the chance of a cancellation, booking is essential! Lazenby’s in York Place is a Bistro influenced by French and Mediterranean cuisine, based in Scarborough. Based in Whitby, Fusco’s Fish and Chips and Royal Fisheries is a family run business dating back to the early 1950s. The restaurant has recently celebrated over 50 years based in Whitby and is looking towards many more.
