Prospect review: Here's what I thought of the pub at the heart of Morley Bottoms

The people of Morley Bottoms reacted with anger when they felt the council pedestrianised the popular stretch without discussion, with the brunt of the criticism aimed at the waste of the outdoor seating at this point in the year.
At the heart of this seating is Prospect a quant little pub in size but big in the role it plays in its community.

I entered Prospect on a Thursday night to enjoy a long awaited catch up with family and was delighted to be met by a warm and welcoming interior, decorated with lights and candles on the tables as the local community gets into the Christmas holiday spirit.
Coming from Morley train station, Prospect is located halfway up the hill, on the way to the main high street.
Yes there may be a perfectly good Wetherspoons just up the road but there’s a time and a place for Spoons and its familiarly patterned carpets, reasonably priced drinks and long walks to the bathroom, sometimes it pays to spend some time in an independent pub making its own mark in the local community.

It's not just a place to drink, but an extension of the community in which it calls home.
Prospect even offers live music nights, offering local artists the chance to play in front of a crowd while giving pub goers a chance to enjoy a little live music with their alcoholic beverage of choice – not that there is anything wrong with a classic pre-set playlist.
The relaxed, friendly atmosphere is perfect if a rowdy city centre bar isn’t for you or you're just wanting a quiet spot for a long awaited catch up. The spot is also very dog friendly so man’s best friend is welcome to join in the fun too.
