Popular Headingley fish and chip shop Bryan’s at Fisherman’s Lodge to reopen with new name

A popular fish and chip show in Headingley is set to reopen soon with a brand new name.

The Bryan’s at Fisherman’s Lodge, Weetwood Lane, is re-branding as Catch Seafood Restaurant.

This is part of a £250,000 refurbishment.

The menu has been broadened to have more seafood and healthy dishes, as well as the traditional battered fish and chips.

A bar has also been fitted, serving draught beer, cocktails and winds.

Catch Seafood Restaurant has signed up the the government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme .

This means people get 50 per cent off from Monday to Wednesday.

It is a maximum of £10 per person.

The restaurant will reopen on Monday, August 17.

"Bryan’s has been part of the Headingley community for over 30 years and the refurbishment will enable us to bring the Catch casual seafood dining experience to these loyal and valued customers.

"In addition to the popular and traditional items, the new Catch menu will include a range of healthy dishes all made using the freshest seafood which we source from UK ports and are prepared by our experienced award-winning team of chefs.”
