This week, we're taking a look at the restaurants in Leeds that have received the highest possible food hygiene rating following inspections by the Food Standards Agency in 2026.
We've excluded cafes, takeaways and pubs, focusing solely on sit-down restaurants inspected so far this year.
Food hygiene ratings are awarded by the Food Standards Agency following inspections of restaurants, pubs, cafes, takeaways and other food businesses.
Ratings range from zero to five, with a score of five meaning hygiene standards are considered "very good". A rating of one means "major improvement is necessary".
