The restaurant, based in The Light on The Headrow, served food from around the world, including Italian, Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Mexican and European.

A spokeswoman for The Light confirmed the restaurant had "officially closed".

The most recent owners had taken over from Red Hot World Buffet, a former chain of UK restaurants.
