The warm weather is set to continue well into the evening, good news for those heading for a tipple after work.
We've rounded up the best rooftop terraces and pub gardens in Leeds to enjoy the sunshine:
7. The Original Oak
The Original Oak's huge Headingley beer garden is very popular with regulars and students. The pub shows most Leeds United and Leeds Rhinos matches on the big outdoor screen, with a selection of pub grub and reasonably priced drinks.
8. Water Lane Boathouse
This lively waterfront bar has a prime city centre location, with a large beer garden for soaking up the sun. Run by the team behind Headrow House and Belgrave, it offers a tempting selection of beers, wine, cocktails and food.
9. Kirkstall Bridge Inn
Nestled on the side of the River Aire, Kirkstall Bridge Inn has closed most of its car park to create a fantastic outdoor dining area. Sit by the river or in one of the tipis lit by fairylights for some great drinks from owners Kirkstall Brewery and some delicious pub grub.
10. Belgrave
Belgrave has one of the best rooftop terraces in the city, complete with an outdoor bar and partial shelter. Patty Smith’s burgers and Dough Boys pizza will return. Spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis.
11. Buon Apps
Buon Apps restaurant in Otley has a beautiful garden terrace overlooking the River Wharfe. Sun shades and parasols are provided to protect guests from the changeable Otley weather. Well behaved dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead at all times.
12. Canal Club
More than £1million has been invested into the Canal Club, which opened at the end of last year. It has a gorgeous outdoor terrace looking over the canal, perfect for the summer sunshine.
